AWF Honors Award Program

Each year, the Army Women’s Foundation recognizes individuals who have distinguished themselves by making extraordinary contributions to the U.S. Army or Armed Forces and to the women who serve in the U.S. military.

The Foundation presents two kinds of honors: the Hall of Fame Award and the Special Recognition of Champions Award.

Hall of Fame inductees have included individual women and groups of women who have served in the U.S. military, many of who broke ground for generations of women to follow.

The Foundation also presents the Special Recognition of Champions Award. While separate from Hall of Fame inductees, these awards provide special recognition to individuals who have championed the issues of women who serve in the U.S. military.
